25.00 per hp isint bad, on cars i usually expect to spend 100.00 per hp.

Slip ons cost more than $100, man. It's $100 alone for the muffler, plus fab work to get it on. You will NOT get 4HP out of a slip on system with out bike. With a full system, which will run you ~$400, THEN you can get your 4HP. You might gain 1 or 2 with a slip on.

ohh ya i know that but i dont think 500 dollars for laser exhaust is worht it especially if u cant feal the power. why spend that much money, when u can just spend 350 for an IXIL.

It's your money, you decide how you want to spend it. Is the extra 100 bucks worth it for you?  :dunno_white:

Me not sure...that's why I still have stock exhaust. 8)

Lunchboxes are cheaper than $100. $30 or $40 if you know where to get them. Yes they will work. Yes, you will need to rejet. No, no one has gotten dyno tested jetting settings for the '04+ yet. Yes, I will be doing that soon.

Any time you remove your airbox you will have low end changes due to the lack of pressurized air.

And yes, that lunchbox filter will work for the '04+ too. I have one.

One thing you have to keep in mind, is that 4hp is a high percentage change on a 40hp bike.  $400 bucks for a full system is expensive, I guess its because the F models required new tooling.  Look around, I ultimately found a full Jardine for under $200.  If you, or someone you know is skilled, I'm sure the older systems could be adapted.  Don't waste money on a slip on and flange if you are looking for power.  It just will not get you there.

My '01 GS dynoed at 45hp with a Jardine system, re-jet, and pods.  With the dyno tune it all cost under $350.  The net gain is very good for the cost.  You will feel 5hp.  Keep in mind that these numbers were made at 4600 ft elevation, so it would have been even more dramatic at sea level.

I swear I've read other posts from you about this. What's your obsession with 120? Why do you want that so bad? If you want big power and huge top-end speed, get a different bike.

And I'm sorry, this is gonna sound really rude but I've got to say it: your posts are often almost indecipherable. There's no punctuation, it's all typed in slangy shorthand, and half the words are misspelled. If you're not a native speaker of English, please forgive me. But do try to make sure the post halfway intelligible.
