Where to buy new piston rings?

I want to replace the rings while I've got my pistons out.  They're $25 per piston at bikebandit for stock ones.  Anybody know a better price or a good aftermarket option?

Bike Bandit is where I got mine.  Really it's not a bad price compared to the dealership.  I think they wanted to charge me something like $50 PER PISTON!  All of a sudden Bike Bandit seemed like a pretty good choice. 

I know sinking more money into your bike is a pain, but piston rings are something you don't want to have to change again if you happen get a sub-standard aftermarket part.  I did mine last summer and I don't want to deal with it again for a loooooooong time.  I'm all for saving a buck but not when it may cost more time and $$$ in the long run.

Good luck!  You could try Dennis Kirk to see if they're available there.  I'd also keep a close eye on ebay, but who knows when they may come up for sale.

well, if you can get 1mm over bore pistons, you can get rings for 4 pistons worth for about 40$ there is a suzuki made today that uses the same rings in a 75mm bore.

Larger. By 1mm. You'd have to bore out the sleeves to get them to fit, but you'd get a true 500cc.

Yea, I'm hoping to avoid expensive machinework on this motor.  I was planning to re-use the same rings...until I broke two of them during removal    Oh well, new ones are the smart way to go anyhow.

It wouldn't be too expensive to have it overbored, especially with only 2 cyclinders.  You should at least have the cylinders honed though, or does that not matter?

I'm going to hone (deglaze) them myself to save some cash.  Autozone will let you borrow the hone, but mine came with medium-size stones so I bought some finer ones.
