Not really back ... just a short visit

Hello Everybody!

I got an email saying that I had a Private Message.  I have successfully ignored these since about October (er, I mean "put these on the back burner until I was ready to jump back into GStwin Land").  But this one mentioned a broken link to the thread that showed how to create a fork damper bolt tool.  Can't have that, right?  :nono:

So I clicked ... and here I am!  My first login since the board got a facelift!

To my horror, I soon realized that ALL of the GStwin message thread links in my (thousands of) posts are probably broken.  Hmmm.  Well, I certainly don't have time to work on THAT right now.  I guess folks will just have to do their best with the Search feature.   :dunno_white:

Anyway, I hope things are going well in general.  I have been getting a bunch of "Report-a-Post" emails lately about stuff that I hope is going on the Tard Farm.   :o   I don't have the time (or, frankly, the inclination) to check into those reports right now.  Don't make me dust off my "Kinder, Gentler GStwin" speech packet!  ;)

Well, enough for now.  I  didn't want to drop in without saying something, but I'm not exactly fishing for a lot of dialogue either.  I'm still pursuing another interest ... but the signs of Spring have not been lost on me.  I'll be pulling Ole Yeller out of the shed soon ... and maybe even showing up here more often.

Stay tuned!

Kerry, I know you're just droppin' by, but it will make many people happy to know you're still out there.  It'd be nice for you to be around more often to remind others what people on this board should act like.

It's great to hear from you again!!  Hope all is well!
Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!

It is great to see you on here again - too bad just to stop in. Your posts still help TONS of people. Just the other day you helped me find my fuse..hehe. You probably have no idea how much you are appreciated, but there are several threads wishing for you to come back  :thumb:

Great to see you are still around and doing ok!
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

I just damn near had a heart attack. Saw the Post Author and freaked out.

It's good to see you back, even if only momentarily. Your valve adjustment video has helped countless people on here, and your posts countless others.

I hope to see you back in the near future so that you can enlighten the rest of us with your bountiful knowledge. Or something.

Good to see you at least still know who we are :)

Hey Kerry, nice to meet you.  After watching your valve adjustment video over and over I feel like we're pals already

It is a shame about all the broken links in the old posts.  Finding information with the search function is limited because of it.  Thank you at least for updating all the images to your current host, that's been a big help over the course of doing research.

This is true for me.  I watched the video at least 5 times, just to replace a leaking valve cover gasket.  I hope we see you soon!

kerry, good to see you back, even for a short time. I hope getting old yeller out again will also inspire you to visit here on occasion.

You can probably ignore the "report posts" emails you've received. I suspect we both get them as I've also got tons of them. I'm on it.

Hope all is well with you.
