So it's a sad day for me, I sold my 1990 GS500 yesterday and today I sold my 2001 CBR 600 F4i, I just bought the CBR but I didn't like the super sporty position for commuting daily so out it went, I'm now thinking of getting a 1994 + VFR 750 anyone have an experience with these?

yep, you'll love it till you see another bike and then you'll start wanting soemthign else and you will never be happy.  go buy another gs.
the left side of the bike is always from the riders point of view.

I don't have personal experience with the VFR but that's definately the next bike I'd like to move to.

If you like the sport bike look but want better ergos, the Yamaha YZF 600R is supposed to be very comfy.  The R6 is pretty much like the CBR - pretty agressive seating position.  The pricing will probably be similar between a '94 VFR and a late 90's, early 00's YZF 600R.

Either would be a great choice, but I do have to admit that the Honda has a certain appeal to it.

Good luck making a decisioin!   :thumb:

Yep. I'll second the YZF. What you lose in top end power, you more than make up for with fully adjustable suspension and lighter weight. Its not nearly as sit up and beg as the VFR, about half way between the VFR and the CBR. You can make it even more comfortable with clipon risers.

Another option would be previous generation ZX6Rs/current ZZR600s. Nice ergos, but with a more modern frame and engine.

what about a yamaha fazer 600. That's what I like. A naked, with a little top half to keep you out of the wind.

My friend has a Yzf600r. Its has a smooth ride, has lots of power but its still comfy. :thumb:

My friend owns a fazer 600 and loves it. They might be rare as I've only ever seen that one.

Eh, the Fazer 6 has an ugly ugly fairing. The Fazer 1000 is much more attractive. And the FZ1 (euro-spec) is one of the most gorgeous bikes out there. The new one is especially so.

I have a 91 VFR750 - great bike - there's a reason the VFR line has won Cycle World's Motorcycle of the Year three times.
