What kind of floor jack is that? Is it a regular 2 or 3 ton car jack? How is it holding the GS? I don't see any safety straps

Its a 160/60 rear tire. No, it's not bolted in, its just a tire sitting in the swingarm. No, its not a vanity plate, that's just the plate they gave me.

Yeah, we've got a few bikes, quite a few of them are actually not shown.

Annguyen, you've PM'ed me and asked me in about 3 other threads if I want to trade tail's. No thanks. As far as the jack, it's just a cheapo Crafstman 2 ton jack. The bike is on the centerstand and the front wheel is off, so I put the jack under the oil pan to lightly support the bike. I've also got jackstands under the fork legs for safety. There's not any more of a need for straps than when the bike is on the centerstand with the wheels on. The jack under the oil pan is only supporting about 30-40 lbs and its a big old cast aluminum oil pan. No need to worry.

The how-to doesn't seem like it would be that much...

Buy wheel
Put GS cush drive in new wheel
Put awesome sticky tire on new wheel
bend brake torque arm to clear big tire
put chain on rear sprocket
bolt wheel to swingarm
enjoy

Indeed, it wont be extremely complicated. Basically, I want to write up an article for the FAQ so that it will be more widely understood that the Katana wheel requires no modification at all if you want to run a 150 rear tire. It seems that everyone swaps to GSX-R wheels which require different bearings and are wider at the axle than the Kat wheel.

The chain needs to be moved outward slightly too, no biggie.
