You guys want some good beer... Come to Canada!
Alexander Keith's - Brewed exclusively in Halifax, Nova-Scotia... it's an awesome Pale-Ale. Slogan: "Those who like it, Like it alot!" (My Fav.)
Kokanee - Brewed in the Rockies, Equally a good beer
And Alpine... Gold Winner of the World Beer cup a few years back. Brewed Exclusively in New-Brunswick, and sold exclusively in New-Brunswick up until a few years back, Now they sell in Nova-Scotia and PEI aswell... but that's as far as they go... their slogan: 'You Gotta Live Here to Get It'

ewww Kokanee, gross. BC should be ashamed of that brew, i would rather drink warm blue light

Have you put your taste buds to sleep by drinking Budwiser? Or are you just used to all that Watered-down beer that is brewed in and around the GTA???  :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: You afraid of a beer with some taste?

Ummm... mike mike.... you havn't said anything.... :icon_lol: :dunno_white:

I did! but it is 1:19am... and my brain isn't putting the text in the correct spot!

I drank it when i lived in vancouver for a while becuase it was 'the beer' and it was usually cheap as hell. I like some of the other beer you mentioned, but kokanee just doesn't do it for me.

To be quite honest... that's exactly how I first drank it... Didn't love it the first time I drank it... but It's actually pretty good.

But again, NOTHING beats a good cold Keith's!

I like keiths ipa
I don't mind the rickards red brew either.

i like some of the ale type beers that are unfiltered and have a pretty unique taste. They're not the strongest tasting beers, but they sure taste neat.

- hoegaarden
- coopers sparking ale from australia

Unnamed

Hoegaarden has a very interesting taste, if you like the white beers I suggest Kronenbourg Blanc, it was only created a couple years ago but its quite tasty (if you like fruity beers). Its a bit like Blue Moon with an orange slice in it.

my logic is if they really want the bike, or any of my crap for that matter, they'll take it regardless of what measures I put in place

a few guys could pick up your bike and put it in the back of a pick up in a matter of seconds

a few REALLY BIG guys.    I  tried this with SIX guys and we still ended up dropping her on the truck twice.  and it took an hour.  And these guys were ARMY.

your right though, IF I want your bike I'm gonna take regardless.  I mean them o'course.

lol. wtf are you talking about? Myself and two of my scrawny friends have loaded my gs500 in a truck in under a minute. Two people lift front, third stands behind bike and manages front brake. Load front wheel. Third person gets in front of bike and manages front break, other two lift rear and push forward. Bike is loaded on truck bed in less than a minute.

PS I'm a soon to comission 2LT in US Army  :2guns:

Well "sir" I failed to mentioned we we're all lowly enlisted soldiers without the advantage of an officer to direct and guide us in the correct course of action.

Plus you know enlisted, we stood around talking about what to do do for a good while before attempting it, then attempted it. followed by an After Action Review.
comming up with another course of action we made a second attempt immediately followed by another After Action Review. and a cig break.
the third attempt ended in a bike drop and an AAR to discuss the ramifications of denting the truck, also determining who to blame.
All in all the mission was accomplished as can be expected considering no commissioned officers were present.

Thank you "Sir"

3imo out.

PS  I have been promoted to Civilian 1st class.  :2guns:

ok! new plan!

with my new disc lock in hand... becuase the old plan left my old disc lock somewhere in the twisties..  :dunno_white:

kryptonite disc lock, with little pouch - going to put a button similar to a jacket button into the velcro to ensure it won't come undone and then find someway to afix the pouch under the seat semi-permenantly.

why not place it with the tool kit and strap it down with the tool kit strap...
or you could put a screw/washer or a nut/bolt/washer thru the back of the pouch to hold it down to the plastic.

That's what i did - i used the tool kit strap, and it failed me :(

I'm going to find a way to afix the pouch under the seat tomorrow morning.

Tool kit is still there, it is wedged in there pretty good. thankfully that didn't fall out, suzuki would most likely want a silly amount of money for a new one.
