Well I know most people won't care, but I'm just so happy with what I got that I had to show and tell. Today I went to the local bike show that was on this weekend in Toronto and got an awesome deal on a new jacket.

It's a limited edition Kevin Schwantz autographed 54/100 full leather Joe Rocket jacket. After I bought it I realized that Kevin Schwantz is the world 500cc GP champion. How fitting is that considering I'm riding a GS500?
I had seen this jacket at another show in January and wanted it but the price at that show was $550. I saw it again at this show with my buddy and it had a retail price of $699 marked down to $399 for the show. I realized that I couldn't afford it so I didn't try it on. A salesmen then came up to me and asked if there was anything I liked. I told him 'that one, but I've only got $300' and he said, "well does it fit" and I was like, 'I donno'. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. then the guys like 'ok, give me your cash and I'm going to go talk to the boss and convince him for you" mean while I'm  thinking "SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!" comes back, hands me a sold sticker and tells me to enjoy the jacket. Best deal of my life!!!

Here's the jacket. The "S" on the shoulders and the big star on the back are actually a lime green colour, not the yellow-ish colour they look in the pics.

On a side note my buddy got a killer deal on last year's model Tecknic one piece suit. $299 and we both rode out with new gear.

actualy I didn't find it cold at all. I had a hoodie and a leather jacket and I was fine. but then again we left at like 11:30 so it was pretty warm.

$300 cash at a bike show! the regular retail price is still on it and it says $699.
IF I had bought it from a store, I would have to pay tax too, so it thats about $805. so I saved about $500!

oh, and thanks for the complement! :thumb:

Its probably a good thing! And besides, nothing wrong with being excited about new toys, or stuff for your toys.

Gotta break the jacket in, i wore my jacket around the house in the winter from time to time

edit: i think the fact that its 1:50am and you're wearing it is slightly distrubing however.
