Does anyone know where I might be able to find factory stickers for my 98 GS? When I bought the bike, it had been repainted. I'm mostly interested in the tank stickers. If these are impossible to get ahold of, could someone tell me the dimensions and possibly the font? That way I could just have some printed up.

Thanks, Scott

mrcycles.com looks like a dealers site.  Is this true?

It is as far as I know.  Their prices are reasonable though.  All the parts you order from the fiches are "Genuine Suzuki Parts"

They get parts elsewhere and have them sent to them and then to you. They get things from somewhere at reasonable prices but shipping takes forever. I just ordered a side cover for my friends 85 shadow and it took almost 2 weeks to come in. They ship from NC. It was $20 cheaper than local dealers and anywhere else that I could find them including ebay.

HOLY COW!!! Thanks, Scott ... that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I think I'm going to go with a mixed set of Dark and light grey, since my tank is a dark (not quite black) with flake and my frame is a solid light grey color. I think I'd get a nice little effect from it ...

Thanks again, Scott :thumb:

You can save yourself both time and money by reading this thread:

I've used Stickerpoint decals for more than 20 years; their products are the most durable I've ever found, cheaper and better quality than OEM decals. If you buy the ones shown on ebay, you'll spend at least $30 and have to wait for them to arrive from England. You can buy what you need from Stickerpoint for less, and have them in hand in just a few days. This is your call, but I doubt you'll find anything to match the quality of the Stickerpoint decals, which are made in the US.

Here's a direct link to the decals for the gas tank only:

http://www.stickerpoint.com/suzuki-9in-wordmark.htm

The OEM (stock) "SUZUKI" gas tank logo is 9" long, same as all the decals shown on that page.

No matter which product you decide to buy, you should also check this link:

http://www.stickerpoint.com/tips_tools.htm

The advice shown on that page explains how to get great results when you apply the decals, so you're less likely to have any problems making everything look perfect.

Good luck; post some pics when you finish...

I was just about to do a search on this topic when I tripped over this.

I have a red 93 GS500E and it has the purple stickers. I really want to replace the decals with black, white or some other color besides purple. My dealer quoted me $85 for the decal set.

The stickerpoint and even the ebay link are for generic Suzuki stickers. Im guessing under my purple stickers the paints going to be faded differently then the rest of the bike. So I think my best option is to get full decal replacements then to just go with the newer look. But $85 seems like a bit of an outrageous price for some stickers.
