so my bike only runs in the pri position, and there is a kinda knocking noise coming from the bike. Iam guessing its my carbs and was wondering is this a hard fix to do on my own? the bike runs perfect in pri mode even when redlining it....if i dont fix the problem will i damage anything?? this happened after i low sided the bike a while back, so iam guessing i knocked the carbs outta wack. if i put it the fuel in on mode...it runs for a little bit and then dies.

You probably knocked off the vacuum line from the left carb to the petcock. It's there to open the petcock as soon as the motor is running.

Knocking noise bad.  Valve adjustment?

When was the last one done?

How many miles on the bike?

On which side did the bike fall?
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

the bike runs strong, and the knocking noise isnt that bad at all. just a few every 5 mins or so and you really have to liston for them. the valves where adjusted like 4 k miles ago, and i have no problem doing free way speeds or anything like that. So i dont think its the valves.

Sounds like camshaft axial play. That's harmless.
