Avoid Pepboys! (rant)

Yesterday I dropped off 2 rims for my Accord @ pepboys @ 130pm. One tire needed a plug the other a new tire. At 3pm I still havnt heard back so I call them up, I'm told it will be very shortly. So I do an oil change and some maintaince, I swing over around 430pm being semi pissed. I see my rims in the same spot I left them, UNTOUCHED. I am told they are getting to it right now, sorry sorry sorry. Ok, then I'm pretty cool calm and collected. At 6pm I call up and say what the hell is going on, I'm told they are done come by. I give them a lil extra time and get there at 645. I see my rims once again something doesnt look right. The guy walks in and says, sorry we couldnt plug that tire. The other rim w/ the new tire has size 215/50 r17 it was sposed to be 215 45 r 17. THE WRONG SIZE, I left two TWO rims with the same size tire, how can you get that wrong, you have an identical reference. I'm so pissed I say get that freakin tire off my rim I'm leavin now. Now 7pm @ night I realize everywhere else is closed and I have 2 go to New Orleans later that night.

I say ok go ahead put 2 tires on you SOB's. I get home w/ my new tires and realize my new rear directional tires would spin the wrong way! SO I head back one more time and had them do the opposite. They didnt even have to mount the tires. GEEZ. BOTTOM LINE:

NEVER GO TO PEP BOYS! 1st time I'd ever been, LAST TIME!

I only went to Pepboys once.  Went in to get parts for a 267 V8 in a 1980 Camaro.  After arguing with the guy at the parts counter for several minutes (with other people waiting impatiently behind me).  I finally convinced him to look it up, and low and behold, he was wrong.  Oh, and they didn't have my part. 

I figure if I have to convince the parts guy that the engine in my car exists, I need to find a new parts guy.

Pepboys sucks!!
