New Bike...

Hey, ya'll just got re-regestered....I've not been on in about over a year now. Last time I was though, I had bought a 95' GS500 total crap, but I took it in during the winter, stayed man freezing (litlary) days and nights fix'n sanding the farings, painting, sandblasting the pipes, & rebuilding the duel carb, but I got it done, and had it for a few months, then sold it...Now on to bigger and better things. I'm going on monday to buy a new 06' GS500F. For thouse who have one, is it worth it? I know the guy who owns the shop and he's giving me $2,000 off of the base price. What a deal hu? Since this is a dealer ship and all, will I need to get anything jetted or will that already be done, or better yet, is the new gs's fuel injected? Thanks in Advance, Kolinz.

Its not fuel injected and they are basically the same as the older GSe's There's a few minor differences but not much. The good thing about buying brand new, especially for such a good price, is the warranty, and the fact that no one has messed with it but you so you know exactly whats been done to the bike and what kind of abuse its gone through. Congrats on the new bike and welcome.

Thanks dude, damn no injections hu? I thought for sure it would be, but oh well....know any sights to buy new farings, not the stock ones...

i ended up getting a 2 year extension on the warranty free from suzuki becuase i bought the bike new in cash..

Damn, cash...you bought an 06? You get any kind of discount? Other than the warrenty? I'm pretty excited myself to be getting mine, the only prob is that I'll only have Monday evening, Tueday to ride before I go on my vacation trip for four days.

I've been look'n around the link provided on the sight to fairings, but nothing for an 06' yet...wouldn't mind getting some new pipes for it either...
