i get from reading other searches. i just want opions to c if its true what other people say in their topics.
So you've done searches, but doubt the validity of their posts about their experiences, and re-ask the question that has already been answered in your searches.  Okay.

Is this the post that has you worried?  http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=2935.msg22835#msg22835
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Yes I have an 04 600 gixxer with a few minor mods. If you change out your sprocket you will lose a little on the top end as you will tach out a little sooner (my rev limiter is at 17.5k I believe) and you will have your speedometer reading off with speed and adding more miles than you actually put on the bike unless you have it calibrated.I don't mind losing some speed on top as I VERY rarely get it to the limiter,I can probably count on one hand how many times I even had it over 150 mph.

MY bad, just trying to help and I am still green as far as the gs is concerned.I wish my bike was like that I would have way less  miles as the front tire spins considerably less than the rear.
