The Monster has a banana seat with a bolt on cowl, as does the Thruxton.

Naw, I've done the reasearch :icon_razz:, there's just nothin' out there.

there are other bikes that have a banana seat but also have a seat cowl...superhawk comes to mind.

Turd Ferguson

I'm with TarzanBoy on this one.  The aesthetics of the GS tail would not work with a cowl.  The grab bar would look strange, but the seat is really wide and square.  To encase that with a cowl would create something that looked HUGE compared to the flat body work.  The cowl would look like a big old piece of plastic setting on top of a GS tail instead of looking like a piece of factory body work.

I agree with the turd  :)

The newer tails, just wouldnt look right. and the older GS tails  wouldn't work with the squared lights.

as a "bolt on" or slip on" I'd pass on this.  designing a new fairing is another option.

I found this pic of a corbin seat.   it would be possible to mold a cowl to resemble this and it would look good.

but it would be useless beyond looks.  not storage definately.

Look, a dead horse! Get 'em!

The F4i does convert from a banana seat to a rider-pillon set, but there's a plastic piece under the seat that spans the tail and essentially makes it modular and capable of doing the conversion. We don't have that option. Other bikes that come with banana seats have the same feature.
