I'm looking at getting ahold of a lower fairing/ cowling for me '98 GS and I know that JCWhitney has one that "they say" fits all Japanese bikes (I even contacted them to make sure that it would fit mine and all they did was read me the description ... verbatum ), but my question is .... does anyone here know if other year model fairings would fit or could be modded to fit? If so, what's the best year(s) to look for? And are the mods easy if it's not a direct fit?

I was also getting ready to replace me grips as I'm switching over to clip-ons .... are there any good GEL-type grips out there anyone could recommed?

Thanks again - Scott :thumb:

For the belly pan, I'm not sure...

But for grips, go check out anything by ProGrip. I have the 724, personally.
