This happened last summer when i got the bike and I thought it was just me being a newbie. But its starting to do it again. When i take off from a light or stop sign it will stall like its running out of gas or something. It only seems to do it when its warm/hot outside. I rode all winter and had no problems at all. and I haven't changed the way I ride. Its fine on the freeway.
So what do you think? Its a 2001 GS500 40,000 miles, It stalls on take off from a light, but not all the time, and only when its hot outside. Its been in the upper 80's to the low 90's... I'm at a loss :dunno_white:
Don't blame me !!  I live in a world of bad examples...

Do you get the rpms up to 3.5 to 4.5k and slip the clutch? If its sputtering on ya, ease up on the clutch and give the throttle a good couple of twists to get the revs back up and then take off.

Check battery fluid level, too.  And connections.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
