I have 2 buzzing noises. One I'm almost positive os from the windscreen. Another is when I'm holding a steady speed or decelerating, and sounds like "whoom whoom whoom" (that looks funny when it's typed out). I think it is coming from under the tank, so I'd assume it's the intake. Not sure if one of these is what you're talking about or not.

Or it may be a problem with one of your superchargers...

I think your second buzz is my buzz too, in retrospect, I think it is coming from under the gas tank, Is this bad though?

Ok, I was worried you would have a problem with those or the jet engine.

I don't think this is a real problem, just a sound that our bike makes.

uhm.... put in more gasoline... it'll deaden the sound of the vibrations.

Yeah, so I think your bike is fine.

As for that thread about the jet-powered, turbo, supercharged GS, I enjoyed it and found the info to be very helpful with my future plans for my bike. But I've been informed that everyone thinks I'm a dickhead, so who cares what I think?

Perhaps because pantablo (or ____insert other mod/admin names here) is a bit tired of dealing with what's been going on for the past few days, and what normally might be funny is fueling the fires.

I have the same tank buzz at ~ 5k rpm's... and come to think of it, i never do hear it on a full tank.

And your fastest GS thread was halarious. I was really drunk when i first read it, but checking again when sober i still laughed.

Did you ever find the source of the noise? I had an awful buzz coming from my mirror...

Replacing it solved the problem.
