I got a mule(well its really a donkey) and her name is Sal.

Pastrana's donkey, Burrito, had a baby this morning.  She named her Sal cause I wont stop singing the Erie Canal song.  Anyways, Sal is a very sick little donkey and Pastrana has to bottle feed her and she also had to milk Burrito.  Yeah I told you all she was a hick.  Here are some pics....

Poor little thing isnt doing so hot guys...she's not really eating, not really standing on her own, i got her to poo a little which is good. And about an hour ago she had a lil mini donkey seizure which worried me. Vet isn't returning my calls...

Well she has the baby cause one of the other donkey's gave birth.  She has donkey's cause she lives on a farm and is a hick.

She's a premee...idk what else to do for her...its not looking good. I tube fed her once and she perked a bit, and she took a lil from a bottle but now shes kinda unresponsive again.    Its so frustrating not being able to do anything....shes not even swallowing

She did call but they never called her back.

I called our normal vet at least 15 times today, 4 of which were at her house...she never called back. I called 3 different 24/7 vet offices none of which did anything with donkeys or could tell me what to do. I called our old equine vet and the best he could tell me was to tube feed (which I did) and to give it goats collostrum paste and I did that too. I called every person I could think of who raised donkeys and they all told me the same thing, not much you can do.  Premees  have a less than 5% chance of living. I tried here...If I'm in over my head I ask for help...I did everything I could think of to do...
