DynoJet kit for 04-06

Anybody running the DynoJet kit on an 04-06? What setup are you running? Needle at #4, main jet DJ124 etc.
I installed mine and I am having a high rpm/ full throttle surge at speed and the bike feels restricted on top end. I put the set up for a free flowing exhaust and I still have my stock exhaust on (waiting for the Laser to arrive) and I am not sure if this is causing the problem or not. It feels like it is running lean on the top end, but it should be running rich. Does this sound like a rich condition??
