When I come to work, I have to flash a badge at the security shack.  How do you guys attach it to the bike?  I have seen the MilSpec vest by Icon and wondered if anyone had come up with something similar, or if there is a more clever way.  Thanks for your time.

I have mine on a recoiler attached to my belt.  I make sure it is outside my riding pants and then I can get to it easily to open the security gate.

I do the same thing.  I center it on my belt and it fits right under my jacket so there's no flapping in the wind.  I've also occasionally attached the recoiler to my tank bag and had the badge tucked into the handle on the "rear" of the bag (the side facing me).

When I had a badge, I had it sticking out of my tankbag with the lanyard inside and the tankbag zipped up around it.  It only flapped around a little bit and never really moved

Since my badge also allows me to also open the doors I keep it in my tank bag.  Then I just pull up to the gate and open my tankbag so the guard can see it.  Losing my badge would be very very bad.
