Check out this thread: Right 15 Tooth Sprocket for a GS500F . I detailed the instructions of how I did it and what I used. I only chnaged the front sprocket - not the rear - and did not have to install a new chain.

If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, have a friend or your dad go out there and help out. An extra hand is always nice anyways. But this is easy; if you can tighten your own chain, do your own oil changes, etc., you should have no problem doing this.

ya doing my own oil change  :oops:, sorry my dad used to know, but he used to do it on dirtbikes and he says just to let my neigbour do it.

if you pay someone $100 to do it, ill fly across from scotland and kick your arse myself. its an easy job, stupidly easy. give it a go. there isn't much you can do wrong, if you are worried take photos as your doing it so you can reveiw things step by step.
