Cop knocked my bike over - updated with pics (5/21/06)

Truth be told...cops suck...

So heres the outcome:

Police here have immunity from paying for anything, unless it comes out of my pocket. Since i have collision, i had to put a claim in under my insurance, which has a $500 deductable. So after that the cops will give me $500. the rest comes from progressive.

My estimate came out to be $1300 in parts and labor. $600 because of the chip in the tank means i need a whole new tank  .

Since i ordered 1/2 the parts online and 1/2 from the shop, do the work myself, and am just touching up the tank - I will have 800 left over for extras and my pain and suffering. Woot!  And thats with me getting a new bike cover, and SM2 bars instead of stocks.
