My girlfriend just recently bought me this bike and i am learning to ride on it.  I want to keep it even after i outgrow it as it is my first bike ive owned....

but i want to be able to customize it..

it has a little speed on it but is there any, i mean absolutely any way i can put an exhaust system or even just a slip on exhaust?  I saw the tutorial about the vance and hines...but will that still work with the 2006?

Any body than can help will be greatly appreciated....im new here so go easy on me....thanks

just e-mail me back at ragan_anthony@colstate.edu,  or imetwhitneyat8mile@yahoo.com...or back here...ill check back often

You should definitely check out the GS500 FAQ:

http://gstwin.variders.com

There is an entire section on performance mods (as well as maintenance, and a lot of other stuff). In there, you will find information and links to various solutions for performance exhaust. You could also try a search on this site using key terms like "laser exhaust", "vance and hines", "wileyco", "scorpion", and.."exhaust"  :icon_razz:

hmmm...isn't there some guy here trying to get someone to send him an exhaust as jigging for a new 52mm set?

You can also get just about any slip on and have a exhaust shop make you pipe that will fit it to your bike.  Or if Sinrath has any flages left you can get a wileyco exhaust . . just depends on how much you wan't to spend.
