okay...

So tonight, an old friend was in town, and I spent a few hours at his house doing, whatever.

On my way home, I was taking back roads to avoid the drunk driving populous that is very common in my town.

I'm sitting at a Red light, waiting to make a left hand turn, a few cars are behind me, I get the green, quick look left, quick look right, look through my turn... I get through the intersection, just in time to hear squeeling tires, and notice a car without headlights coming into the intersection and clips the nose of the car that was behind me....  takes off just the front bumber and glances off stopping before hitting opposing traffic stopped at the opposite red light.

I road down the road maybe 100 yards, pulled over...

Now, I don't have a weak stomach by any means... before I could even get my helmet off, I was vomitting.  Never before have I been so scared in my life.

Word of advice, make that look before you enter the intersection extra long, and please please please, double check to make sure you are safe.

side note, anyone have any tips for cleaning out a helmet?

pictures to follow if it makes the paper.

Hipocracy.... becoming more acceptable with the more power you think you have.

Shiiiiiiiit!  I can't even imagine!

Vomit is one of the hardest smells to get rid of...  Pull all the pads out (assuming they come out) and wash them...  Wash the inside the best you can...   :dunno_white:

know what you mean but never actually vomited.  Helped a friend clean one though.  a lot of washing and the perfect amount on fabreez works like a charm.  Mix a little fabreez in the washing water too.  Don't over do it though, if it should smell of heavy fabreez all the time well that is almost worse than the vomit.

Puke is tough to get out.  honestly, it might be a loss.

I have come so close to puking out here in the heat...it's only a matter of time...

That is wild!  I'm glad you made it though.  I worry about drunk drivers more than anything.  I barely trust the sober drivers, let alone the stinky drunks.
BTW, the worst BAC I've ever seen in my criminal practice: .289%   Yep.  That is over 3 times the legal limit.  Yikes.
Be careful, broseph.

Man, that sucks.  Glad you came out okay though!  :thumb:

I know how it feels, I had a close encounter with a drunk driver a few months back.  As I was nearing the intersection, the idiot jumped the red light and cut right in front of me.  I had just enough time to slow down a bit and swerve, and managed to go across fine, but boy I was shaking like crazy the rest of the way home...  :o :o

That is scary stuff! I'm so glad you're okay! I had a car behind me get t-boned once and that scared the crap outta me. Definitely don't overdo the fabreeze, that will surely make you want to vomit. Not like I know from experience.  :icon_lol: But a bit after lots of washing should be good...good luck with that!
