Today, at my bike shop's 4th anniversary party I won...

LOWEST HORSEPOWER on a DYNO  :o

39.5 horsies on a 2004 stock GS500F

WOOHOOO!!!   :icon_confused: :icon_mrgreen:

They were giving away a $50 prize for highest HP and lowest HP - I couldn't resist! :)

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Yeah, I got my bike and now I'm not only ticked about all the repair issues I got as a package deal but I'm kind of disappointed. I was hoping for more stonk.

I guess I'll just have to buy a 'busa and put a turbo on it. (Ever seen any of those videos? YOU HAVEN'T OMG, they're great.)

I've seen em. Along with ghostrider videos. The busa with a turbo is insane tho.

it was funny, a stock Busa won the highest HP - 155 out of the box, still stock pipes and everything. The guys with their cutom gixer 1000xs were REALLY not happy!  :icon_mrgreen:

mine did the same, what was your TQ mine was about 25 flat

i also was runing lean, like way lean. so i need to go to stage 2 on the jet dyno guy that was tunign other the other bikes said that i could get another 5 hp and 3 TQ at min or as high as 10hp and 6 TQ with the jet. sounds right.

I wish I had been there with my buddy's Elite 80... Had to be like 5hp (maybe less, it sucked even for an 80) of pure FURY :mad:. It had no muffler, it was horribly ghetto. It tried so hard though.... It really wanted to be fast. I think it was better suited to a RC car or something. It might not have even been able to turn the dyno.  :icon_rolleyes:

And yes, he rocked a huge afro while riding it.  O0 O0
