Hello I have had my 1996 gs500e for 2 yrs now. great starter bike! I am in need of a new back tire and was wondering if someone could tell me the meatiest(thickest) back tire a factory gs500e could use and maybe website I could order it from (with pictures of the tire if pos.)
I am also looking very hard for a fairing kit for my bike. I was wondering what kits would work on a 96? Would a fairing kit from the new gs500f line up correctly? if pos could someone post a website of some picture of these also?

The tire question will start an argument.  Some say that you should stay with the stock size.  Some say no more than 140/80.  Some say that 150/70 is fine.

My research into fairings led me to the conclusion that if I want fairings, I should get a new bike.  It's just not worth the cost.
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:
