now that it's getting a bit warmer, i've mothballed the thick winter riding gloves and started wearing my spring/fall leather gloves. when riding short distances, my hands would get numb. i would shrug it off thinking it's just a bit chilly in the mornings but later in the warm afternoon my hands will be fine. hands numb all day. i tried to pay more attention and try to relax more with a loose grip, still no good. my gloves fit fine when i wear them and make fists with them but when i mount the bike and grab the grips i just noticed the tightness on my thumbs and fingers.

after all these miles, i finally realized my gloves are too small  :cookoo:

the only cycle shop open on sundays relatively closeby is in danbury, ct. it's a bmw shop but they've got other european imports too. it's an excuse to go ride so i head out there. i figure i rode the sv650s yesterday for 200+ miles i better take the zrx1200 out, she gets jealous.

when i arrived i saw this in the parking lot, i've only seen it in magazines but now it's here right in front of me. this mother is LOUD when he fired it up and roared off!!!  :icon_twisted:

i ditched my old gloves and found a pair that fit better, no more numb hands. i got home just in time before the deluge of rain. i'll spend the rest of this rainy sunday watching the motorcycle races i taped earlier on speedchannel (i should be doing laundry...)

Looks cool.   WTF is/was it?
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

Not sure if I like it or not. That's an interesting way to mount your license plate.

I'm seeing that more and more often on choppers.  Not sure it's entirely legal, though.

Ogg: Not spear, caveman.
