will 05 & newer gsxr headlight fit on 05 gs500f ?

just wondering if the size of the headlight is the same as a gs500f. if so, will it bolt right up, or would i need to modify it?

Why would you want to? They already have the same design and shape.

the reason why is that i am going to modify my 98 with a 05 full fairing and i can't find 05 gs500f headlights.but i can find used gsxr's all day long.
