I thought lovebugs were pretty much a north Florida thing, and I had seen them (on my windshield) in Central Florida before.   But last week I took the GS on a late afternoon ride out to Okeechobee, and the little farkers were EVERYWHERE!   It was like riding in a snowstorm!   My faceshield was almost completely plastered with the little bastards, and I had to find a place to stop and wash it off.

So, it turns out   :2guns: lovebugs are alive and well in south Florida!   Any interesting bug hazards in your country and/or neck of the woods?

I did wash & wax the GS yesterday.  Looks purty!   :thumb:
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

Yep, they swarm in Alabama too... we had them like crazy last year.  Haven't seen them this year as of yet, you can keep them down there

I ran through a swarm of the kamikazee "f*ckers" at about 80mph.  I had to wipe my visor and just smeared them and still couldn't see worth a shaZam!.
Not the brightest crayon in the box, but I can still be seen from a distance.  ;P

Spraying PAM cooking spray helps keep the radiator and engine clean, too.
