Well, it's official. It has been a year since I started riding and a year + a few days more since I got the bike.
Since I don't believe on knocking on wood or kids stories like that, I can only be amazed I've made it this far without drops or crashes.

In fact and to celebrate, I made an 'instructional' video on how to lube a motorcycle chain  :icon_rolleyes: since it's the only thing I've learned how to do so far (besides the oil changes). I will be posting later on, unless someone has a nice voice without accent to do the voice-over  :icon_mrgreen:
Caturday yet?

"Hi, I'm Troy McClure! You may remember me from such motorcycle instructional videos as 'Putting gas in your bike' and 'Shifting for stupids' and 'What's this lever on the right do?'. Now we'll journey into the challenging realm of chain maintenance! If you haven't seen them already, be sure to watch 'Oil Change!' and 'Yes, tires need air in them'. So grab that shiny stick with a 'C' on one end and an 'O' on the other, and let's get 'wrenching'!!"

:icon_mrgreen: No offense, man. I just couldn't resist.  :icon_razz:

   good stuff.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

Congradulations!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

7000+ mostly HW miles on straight roads  :icon_confused:
all this time the bike has been my only means of transportation, but I got to know what is like to ride in the xtreme cold, in the puring rain, in the scorching heat and more  :icon_mrgreen:
