LA Area Phaedrus memorial ride August 19th

Okay, so, I've decided that getting together all the GS's in the LA Area would be an awesome thing.

Right now, Saturday August 19th is the date.

Open to all riders, but we really wanna see alot of GS's.


It will be a ACH Ride... Leaving from the 76 Station off the 210. (not the typical Shell Station at the base of ACH)

Time frame would be 9am-ish, but probably Bullshitting around till 9:30... anyone have problems with that, or any comments?

Remember, it will be in August, and Heat is a factor.

Thanks!   ACH is fine.  Of course, Big Bear via 18/38 is my favorite ride.

I'd say ACH. It's further from me than PCH, but I've heard PCH to be a tad on the dangerous side, not good for a first group ride  Heck, I wouldn't travel too far on it in a small car...

its 9 miles up the 210 from the ACH shell station. puts us starting up from the big tujunga side-much better, less traffic, better surface, less cops.

although everyone seems to be familiar with the shell so we could meet at shell anyway and roll up to sunland like we did last time. probably best-disregard above.

9am is good. target 9:15 as a departure time, fuelled up and ready to go.

you ARE crazy. same ride, starting at gas station closer to big t. remember the last time we did this ride we rode up the freeway to sunland from the shell? the 76 station is on sunland blvd on the way to Big T (called Oro Vista at sunland).
