So, I'm riding naked right now, and want to get a windshield. I'd like to get some reveiws from you folks about whats out there. I found a really good selection at twisted throttle, and memphis shades. Any recomendations? I don't really care about style, because I'm only going to use it for touring.

I have had several over the years, mostly by National Cycle, mostly on an old GS400. I currently use a NC Street Shield on my 2001 GS, and it is a very good-looking shield. It is functional, but not as protective as the bigger shields. I'm getting 70 to 75 mpg so it's not slowing me down. I have it set so I can just see the road over the top of the shield. It cuts the blast on the face and chest, so there's less fatigue.

Check out Kerry's bike. He has the Plexistar II. I bought the same one and I loved it. It was the perfect shield for the winter temps. I prefer being nude in the summer time.

Anyone ever tried that ebay Cafe fairing?? If so, whaja think?

I have had 2 windshields, National Cycle's F-15 and F16 tall.  IMO they have realtively the same wind blockage but the F-16 looks better.  Pastrami called the F-15 a "Goldwing" windshield.  :cookoo:

The ebay fairing is definitely cheap...but it also looks like booboo. IMHO.

Get one you can park a truck behind like the Plexistar 2 or my Turbo-Spitfire.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??
