Gas cap issues

Is the gas tank supposed to be pressurized or anything? I had my bike parked for about an hour, and then I had to move it (but didn't need to start it). When I went to move it, it hissed and smelled like gas a bit. My gas cap doesn't look like it's really sealing that well, anyway. Should that be any reason for concern?

The gas cap is vented.  When you swish the gas around, it causes some to vaporize and come out of the vent.  Not a problem.

check to see that the vent hoses arent blocked or kinked. they run from under the tank to the right side of the bike near your foot.
