Anyone with long hair, glasses, and/or facial piercings.. Question

i used to wear earrings. They were kinda like a small 'C' shape made out of coconut husk with a hole in each end of the 'C.' Then there was a thin stick that went through both holes and the hole in my ear. Sounds tribal, but they were really cool and actually really clean and pretty low-profile. But those flippin sticks kept getting snagged in my helmet liner and wanting to come off with my helmets. i was going to post a "what earrings work with helmets" thread...but wussed out. i know gauged captive rings would work...but my holes have finally shrunk from the 8 guage of my college years...and i'd kinda like to avoid stretching em out again.

As far as hair goes, i keep it pretty much shaved. But i have a 6" goatee that looks absolutely ridiculous hanging out of the bottom of my full-face helmet. i occasionally see my shadow on the road next to me and see my goatee's shadow flapping in the wind. It looks so silly, i usually laugh aloud in my helmet.

long hair here too.  not like this  , but straighter  

tie it back, with or without braid (if long enough and don't care - I find it stays way out of the way, like it's not even there when braided), or bandana it.

sorry, nothing to offer about the piercing.
