has anyone bolted the the SV1K shock to the GS? the reservoir hits the air box and wanted to know is puttin in pod filters would allow for the rear shock to be bolted onto the bike?

i'd say if thats the only thing stopping you mounting it then go for it, bear in mind you'll have to rejet if you change the filter to pods
pod filters, costum r6 quill exhaust(no baffles)40/140 jets, heavy duty springs, sv650 rear shock, gsxr srad tail, bandit 600 4.5 inch rim with 150 tyre, gsx twin disc front end "1995 pocket rocket"  ridden by a kiwi in scotland
