Another premium->regular gas question

So I had been putting premium in my gs. I decided to try regular, and it seems to have the same performance and run just as well, but the bike is noticably louder now. My girlfriend actually heard me pull in last night and already had the door open for me when usually she has no clue. I've got the stock exhaust on there.

It seems to be a healthy sound, just louder. I was just wondering if thats a bad thing or not from a bike health standpoint. I don't mind the loudness 

Btw this is 93 octane=premium, 87=regular
