Hi all,

I'm new here.  I bought an '04 GS500F last weekend w/ 600 miles on it.  It's my first bike and the only riding experience I had previously was the MSF course.  I've put around 200 miles on it in the last week (riding to work, riding for fun, riding to run errands, etc).  I'm very happy with my choice so far

Anyways... here are some pics:

Welcome!

Nice!  :thumb:

Good pictures, too!  The first photo is really striking to me...something about the way the front fairing comes to a point...
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

Yeah, the Fs are good looking bikes.

I just think that when you turn the bars, the front of the bike should go with them  :icon_lol:
I brake for bezier curves.

Yeah....this was something to get used to when I first started riding even my semi-faired SV.

Nice bike!  How did you find an '04 with so little miles on it?  I love my '04 as well.  First on my list for mods is some better springs for the front   They suck teh big one.

Beautiful bike, i looked at the full black 04 before i bought my kwaka. The black one just had a wow factor when i pulled up to look at it. I wasn't expecting it to be so beautiful, really like a babi gixxer. Time to get up and wash the kwaka so i can take some pictures for you impatient ones who want to see it.

That's a really nice color.  I have an 05 in the black, red & silver but now yours looks nicer!
Have 2 bikes and 1 scooter (125cc).  Other bike is Kawasaki Ninja 250, as well as the Suzuki GS500.  Recently sold the Ninja.  Added the checkerboard decals to the GS.  They are reflective 3M decals.

Very nice! I have a yellow '04 and love it!
