Hey all.  Well, I'm home from the Gap.  I met up on Saturday with Alphafire, thatguy, rangerbrown, and ashman.  We all rode the Cherohala Skyway, and thatguy and I rode the tail.  The run sucked 'cause we got stuck behind a pickup truck and four or five honda s2000s.  We only got to wind it up for a short time and I was creapin' when we came up to killboy.  That shot's gonna suck.  Ah well.  We did run into one of the other killboy photogs on the Cherohala, and we talked him into taking some pics (stationary unfortunately).  They should be up soon.  Ranger tried to get some video of us riding.  I won't even talk about his camera mount .  We'll we how it turned out soon hopefully.
To those of you that made it; it was good to meet / ride with you all.   To those of you that didn't; BE THERE NEXT YEAR!!  :flipoff:

Highlights from my trip!

On the way there:

Rode with the FZ1 guys on Friday and went to this place called the Road to Nowhere. It's literaly that. It ends in some metal pylons kinda abruptly, but there is enough room for a bike to fit through. You cross the pylons, then go through this long tunnel and it opens up into this beautifully secluded area:

Rode with the GSers on Saturday. Got some pizza and rode Cherhola Skyway:

Saturday night was another FZ1 barbeque and prize night with drawings for stuff like full leathers, back protectors, full Galfer lines and pad kit, exhausts, etc...

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

The whole time I was there I didn't see that many SVs actually. I saw a few groups of them on Thursday evening and one small group of SV1000s on Friday morning, but aside from that I never saw any large groups.
