Jardine sounded just fine.  Fairly loud, but quick response, and good tone at WOT.  I'd buy one before V&H ever saw my money.

I wonder if Jardine was a bit better about design so that one can change their oil filter without removing the entire freaking exhaust. Stupid V&H... I wouldn't have bought V&H if my bike had a stock exhaust when I bought it... I had Jardine headers in my last car, I loved em. Good stuff. A cute chick works behind the counter at Jardine HQ, too

yeah dude im like a time bomb waiting to buy this thing. hey out of curiosity when i buy this exahust should i buy the jet kit 1 to rejet?
ps. i decided to let the dealer hadle the exhaust change

don't buy a jet kit. Buy individual needles from sudco.com... $12 or so, versus $30+

They were, I changed the oil on said 01 with Jardine full system with no problems.  Once I decide if I am keeping the GS, I'm going to either sell it, or buy a Jardine and take it to an exhaust shop and have them turn it into a high mount for me.

Technically, you are right with the "racing exhaust" comment, but honestly, would they have put as big of a can on it if it was an all-out race application?  I think not, and they know 99/100 of the exhausts they sell will be on road-going bikes.
