do they only have titanium for now or is that all they will have?

Titanium? Is that what I got.  :dunno_white: I don't remember his telling me it was titanium, but then again I was on the road and I just ordered it. All I asked was wether it was really meant for the 04+ and that it would fit.

Well the whole box is extremely light. I almost thought they didn't include everything. I'll weigh the can for you guys if that helps.

EDIT: I just checked and I don't see anywhere that says it's titanium. It's stanless steel.

oh ok...only reason i ask is cuz on their website:  http://jardine.rideshop.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=3_25_31 when i look at suzuki i only see the RT-1 and they only have the gs500f listed under "RT-1 Titanium"

im guessing you didnt get the RT-1...i dont know...???

After I get it installed I'll try my best to get a sound clip and if possible maybe a sound clip of the stock sound and then of the Jardine in place. I'll try to get the best quality I can, I think my cousin has a camera I can use.

Also I'll get the weight of the stock system.

also can't wait to hear you DIY. If this is an easy to install product which I assume it is, you might be the first of many to make the switch.

And you can have that warm fuzzy feel of being the leader of the GS Jardine pack

I see where you are getting at, maybe we are just reading it wrong but it looks like that. Or they just haven't updated their site properly.

Here's what my packing slip says. Part number 18-4615-123-02
Description:
2:1 Exhuast - S/S, Alum, Race, Suzuki GS500F 04-06

So I'm guessing the can is aluminum and the rest of the pipes are stainless steel.

And for those that need it, like me :), they put in instructions for swapping this out.

 :) I'm sure this is probably the easiest mod to do on the bike. That's assuming everything fits properly which I hope it does. I'll come back singing their praises.

Don't forget that a rejet should go along with a aftermarket pipe, or you run the risk of running pretty lean

Not yet guys.  I'm waiting for the lunchbox to arrive, should be here today or tomorrow as well as the jets I ordered. I hope to get it all installed on Saturday. Hopefully the video will be that day or Sunday.

You guys think you are impatient, imagine me everyday going into the garage and seeing it on the floor. I can have it on in a few minutes, but nooo stupid me doesn't want to run lean on the way to work.

Hmm, how bad would it be to just throw on the exhaust, no jetting and stock filter. Of course I would drive it easy as if I'm breaking it in.  :dunno_white: Or am I being bad thinking that?  :icon_twisted:

It's already Wed.  just wait and do it right the first time only 3 days more togo.

Haha yeah j/p i guess you might as well wait. Can't wait to see it when you're done though.  :thumb:

Oh and do they sell the headers and mid pipe by itself? Or do you just have to pay for the whole kit?
