Used helmets = bad!

you don't know if the integrity of the helmet has been compromised in any way... I hope for you that it was never dropped... and that the guy who wore it didn't have some nasty scalp eating disease... but other than that... good buy!

I bought my RF-1000 used. You just have to look for the decent buys with plenty of description and a buyer with good history. I also washed mine before I used it, inside and out.

I hardly classify "THE HELMET IS IS GOOD CONDITION   AND  COST  OVER  275$   SIZE  IS   L" as a good description.... especially for something that is supposed to protect your noggin in an accident!

Well me neither, but maybe he does. Dunno. That's a Shoei RF-R though, which were manufactured in 1995. That means the helmet is 11 years old and already in need of replacement. Helmets should be replaced every 5 years due to material degradation and shell integrity diminishing.
