They forgot to put in the pissed off bumble bee sound.  Sort of like a conversation my GF heard at the pool one day, "yo foo, I have 120hp for yo azz.  me and minz 10 second civic is gonna blow yo off z roadz."  The amazing part is the guys he was with was in awe.   120hp on a 400lbs bike = fun, 120hp in a 3100lbs Civic=boring. 

I guess I'm from a different school where slick paint and a engine with a nice thump was cool, where the new school is all about looking like a spaceship and sounding like a bumble bee and having parts they pretty much do nothing or make performance worse, well except for NAWWWZZZZ.  Then they are usually too stupid and put a nice viewing window in the block.

Then you've got your guys with the '74 Duster with a V8 with the air clearner sticking out of the hood that puts out maybe 150 hp on a great day but since he has glass packs he at least sounds cool when he does the one tire high side burn out when he is pulling out of Taco Bell.

  You're right Cannon.  These days everyone thinks they know all about cars because they drive one. Who knows maybe they're right  Nahhhhh.

I remember hearing stupid little stories like that from kids from back then. I would just be in shock then laugh.
