Just stumbled across these forums as I am very new to motorcycles.  So new in fact, I am going to take the MSF class in a few weeks.  I am very excited though and can't wait to ride my dads GS500 some more.  Figured this looks like a great place to learn more about the machine I'm riding and a great community in general.

And, it's great that you are taking the MSF, that's the best thing that can ever happen to ya!

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

whats a msf course??
pod filters, costum r6 quill exhaust(no baffles)40/140 jets, heavy duty springs, sv650 rear shock, gsxr srad tail, bandit 600 4.5 inch rim with 150 tyre, gsx twin disc front end "1995 pocket rocket"  ridden by a kiwi in scotland

Motorcycle Safety Foundation course.  It's where they teach you, either how to ride, or how to ride better, safer.  Negotiate an emergency stopped bus...

Moped Safety Foundation. They teach you how to ride at no more than 20 mph.

Grats on taking the MSF course.  And welcome to the madhouse.
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

so its just a basic handling course. ok. sweet always good to see more people taking up riding :thumb: have fun :icon_mrgreen:
