They are ugly, IMO. The FZ1, especially naked, especially the '06 naked, looks a lot better. I hate the quarter fairing on the FZ6 as I'm more partial to the FZ1's. It's a very upright bike. Makes about 80 rwhp, R6 derived engine tuned for torque, but still peaky like an I4.

I like the all-naked one...but it'll NEVER be worth the $9100 msrp :rolleyes: You can get a K6 1000 for a few hundred more. The FZ6 isn't much better...

I don't like a few of their design changes. A smaller gas tank? By a GALLON? That's crazy. Then there's that exhaust can... The seat is a lot more uncomfortable too. It makes the new FZ1 a lot less "go anywhere, do anything" type bike the original one was so great at.

I dunno man...I ride ex-race bikes more often than not so everything's pretty comfrotable to me. I like the crazy exhausts used on the K5 1k and the new FZ1...a LOT better than the super abundant undertails seen everwhere.

the naked black one looks pretty nice, but the rest of the bikes posted in this thread are bloody ugly.

hmmmmm, im not to crazy about the headlight on the naked bikes. it looks like and prolly is the headlight from a faired bike dunno though

the FZ6, from what friends tell me, has a very abrupt (ie off-on) throttle when you close it and reopen it, like cracking it open mid turn to settle the suspension. this confirms what the mags say as well. buzzy, even by 600cc standards. very high strung with everything at the top end and almost nothing, relatively, low or mid range.

and ugly.
only available in faired version in the states.

Take a FZ1 and convert it to a non-fairing model like overseas. Much like Alpha's bike
