It should work so long as you can ensure the bike isnt going to just fall over or twist on a corner it should move just as your motorcycle does through a corner

Where's the risk of it getting in your chain or tire? :dunno_white: :cookoo:

Well, if you're dragging it behind you with the front wheel attached to the passenger pegs like you suggested there's a possibility that the frame or the pedals will bump into the rear tire during a turn, depending on how you mount it I suppose.  Especially if it's attached to the left peg and you make a right turn, since the chain is on that side.  Also what if the rear tire of the bicycle slips during a turn due to gravel or whatever and becomes unstable?  That would potentially ruin your day.

Dude the bicycle is hinged to allow play in every direction...the odds of it "slipping" and causing problems are non-existant.  And there's no way that a pedal or other part of the bike will come anywhere near interfering with your rear wheel or chain without the asistance of a tailgater.

I bet that would work to carry a bike on the GS too! I asked the same question about a surf board and this seemed like the best answer, so I thought I'd pop it in here to see if you liked it.

Are you on fixedgeargallery.com?

I haven't posted my hoopty-ass conversion yet, but I need to go for one last ride as it sits now, rotafixed and brakeless.  I just SS'ed my older Mongoose mtb, using the cassette and a Shimano 600 derailleur for a tensioner.  It's way cool, I'm definitely going to buy a proper hub and build a nice set of wheels for that, lots of fun.

Threadjack off.

I think you would be better off mounting pedals to your GS and not fiddiling with a bicycle  :icon_twisted:

My GS has been ignored a bit lately, also due to the beautiful bicycle weather.  But if my heart just isn't in the ride (or I've had a few too many Summits), I throw it on the front of the bus and catch a ride home.  Almost every city bus in Minneapolis has a bike rack on the front now.
You cannot escape our master plan!

what about a Saris Bones rack off the back side using 2x4 across the rear seat and the lower support off of the fender??

I'll take mine down off the shelf and see if I could make it work....

zip ties and duct tape mandatory I'm sure.
