I posted a while back about getting a new bike, and got an 05 black gsf.  Check in here every now and then to see if there is anything interesting and now I have a question worth posting.

What are the noticable differences between riding on concrete vs. asphalt streets?  Most of the riding I do is around the city where all the streets are concrete but occasiolanly on the outskirts of town I end up on an asphalt road and it seems like the road is a little slicker.

Wondering if its just my immagination or if there are any handling changes between the two pavement types.

concrete is bloody loud to ride on in the car.

Concrete is harder...less suseptible to temperature changes.  With propper textre, traction is prime in nominal conditions...but a rabbit could piss on it and kill you.

Asphault is better all around.

just wait till you get some good broken grooved concrete to ride on...   I-15 is fun.
the left side of the bike is always from the riders point of view.

Concrete has less traction than ashpalt.  I say this from experience of racing on tracks with concrete patches.  They suck.  You will slide on the concrete way before you slide on the ashphalt.
