I don't think that we lost anyone due to gun talk itself, just the war that always ensues between gun and anti-gun people.  If it would stay on simple a gun topic and not a debate its alright but it never will.  So with that I would say I agree, the moto forum isn't the best place to discuss guns and if you must I believe you can start threads in the farm now.  I just don't want another civil war on the forum.

Edit: didn't see the second page, i think i need to go the the farm for a bit  .  Anyway back on topic, burnouts are pointless unless you have new tires ready to go on and you want to send the old ones out with a cloud of smoke

No one said toting a gun makes you an @$$hole.  Just the gun toter in this instance happened to be an @$$hole.

no government buildings, no where that serves alcohol, no schools, no libraries and i has to be concealed (ie no waiving it around)... some states accept ccw permits from certain other states and other states don't, it's kinda wierd.  then there are some states don't allow any ccw.

thats true for the most part...of course every state is different.  here's some facts from VA.

open carry is legal...fun too.  have received some funny comments from some libtards around the area...as have many of my friends.
have to open carry in restaurants where they sale alcohol, concealed carry is illegal.
most gov. buildings are off limits as well as schools k-12 and VCU.  all other colleges are fair game.

some interesting trivia about the US gun laws.  states with the most restrictive laws also have some of the highest crime rates...New York, California, Michigan, and DC....wonder why???   :2guns:

back to the topic at hand...the only thing that i definetly want to do on my bike is a burnout...i think they are cool and i love the smell of burned rubber.  wheelies and stoppies eventually...but will do a burnout when i have new tires ready to go on  :thumb:

You know I just think that people try to press there beliefs on people to much.

I have 3 guns, but I dont expect you all to have guns.  For me, I grew up in rural louisiana, hell for my 5th birthday I got a BB gun (Daisy biatches).  Ive been around them my entire life its a cultural thing

The same goes for people who dont own fire arms, sure you may think that they are bad, but some people want to own one. And if it make you feel safer great, but just cuz you have one doesnt mean your going to be shooting 12 year olds.

Me and my fiancee are the perfect example*,   she's not a big fan of guns, but she knows I am absolutely responsible, and never play with them, but every now and then she get in a huffy about guns being in the house, but I give her a good wrap to the jaw with the butt of my shotgun and she shuts up.

*Of how not to dispute the gun issue

mike_mike

in canada we just battle it out a little differently:

if you have a problem with someone, you pull their shirt over their head and start filling them with left and right hooks

its a great back up, home protection or range pistol but way to heavy (loaded) so doesn't make a good PPW (personal protection weapon) depends what you want the gun to be used for. i would love to have the

titanium frame, hammerless trigger, 38cal snub nose revolver    small, light and use by all sc state HWY police

i prefer to protect myself and my family without having to rely on someone else who may or may not be there in any given situation.

rangerbrown

you can go to the airport with any gun, well not any gun. at check in the gun must be documented and then put in gun safe by  the airline ect.. call them for details if you want to fly and take it with you.
