you mike.... you will wlways be a noob   :icon_mrgreen:

well,
I wouldnt get noob confused with squid. squids are people who just ride irresponsibly. I think everyone here will always be a noob to some degree, because riding always throws some sort of curveball at you; especially when you're not paying attention. you want to focus more on not being such a squid  :flipoff:

Everyone has a little squid in 'em!

I think it is a state of mind.  You get to a point where you feel extremely comfortable, you aren't surprised when cars pull out in front of you, you actually saw it coming, you're not nervous when you are riding, you can feel when your tires are low, or are starting to wear, just an overall feeling of being one with your bike (grasshopper).  Really.  I don't think it can be stated as a number of miles, or anything like that, but how you go about  riding your bike.  You can feel that the throttle cable is getting frayed, the clutch needs adjustment, or something else isn't quite right with your sled.  Or you might wake up one day and have some feeling that today might not be a good day to ride.  You start getting instincts about things.  Maybe.  And you start to trust them.
