So it's 3:00 in the morning.  Why am I awake when people my age are normally getting a good night's sleep?  Well this CIS class I'm in has a substantial group project.  That means I got stuck shouldering the brunt of the work.  On the eve of the final 60 page submission the team members (except for one) decides to wait till 11:30 to do their submissions.  This meant that I got to package it, write the exec summary, make the TOC and section numbers, and all the other frilly shaZam! while they are tucked all snuggly in their beds resting assured that John is taking care of it.  GROUP SCHOOL WORK SUCKS MOIST ASS!  Why the hell am I always the only responsible freakin person?

My big decision is whether to stay up or sleep for 2 hours and get up at 5:00.  At this point, with sunrise coming in 1.5 hours I'm considering just staying awake, getting through work and going to sleep after I get home tomorrow.

It's been a long time since I pulled an all nighter.  Not sure how the old body will react

Make sure you kick your classmates in the balls.  Just stay up and drink massive amounts of coffee.

Hope you stayed up, sleeping for 2 hours then getting back up SUCKS... BTDT... Gropu work does suck moist ass... in my experience, not just in school, but in life in general..

Thats really shitty of them to do.  When i was in software engineering most or the projects, all but one, were group projects.  After the first one went this way i called a after class meeting and bitched them all out for waiting till the last minute to give me thier shaZam!, attaching the warning that if it happened again i just wouldn't f%$king do it.  It worked for all but one of the people in my group, so i always did his part - he ended up flunking out of the CS dep.  Good luck and be safe out there in the am.

for some reason, that reminds me of Sandlers movie..anger management...  When the Sandlers character turns in his work (that his boss would get credit for) and it is a bunch of photoshopped pics of his boss molesting a cat.

When I was in college, the group projects were what I dreaded most. It certainly was never a group effort. If it hadn't been my grade on the line, I'd have hung the ass monkeys (<---I like john's phrase!  ) out to dry.  Hope you'll get some sleep tonight!

thats what i liked about software engineering, if i had ass monkeys on my team they would get raped in the grade your group section.  I got pulled aside one time cause i gave all my partners, except one, 2's (out of 10) and they gave all the members 10's.  I told the prof it was because me and the lady in our team did all the work whil the other two @$$hats when and drank themselves retarded every night and the next day came in and asked us if we could do a little more of their part for them.  The teacher then asked them about it and they agreed.  Then they gave us zeros the next time and the prof asked us again and they did actually work and i told him that they had that is why i gave them 8's, cause they tried but their crap was buggy as hell.  We didn't get zeros, he tested us individually on the code and we got 10's they got 5's.  They didn't like to review what we told them, just drink again.
