Is this right?

Im looking to buy my friends 2004 GS500F. It only has 2,400 miles. It was tipped over in a gravel driveway when another bikes stand dug in the gravel, knocking both over.

My question to you is does the Gear shifter look right?
Is it suppose to be angled or a dead 90 degrees to the bike?
Would using clamps to bend it back damage it?

I never owned or rode a bike before any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Welcome!

Looks perfect.  The rubber part is straight out.  :thumb:
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Hmmm think it looks a little bent in  :dunno_white:  ride to a suzuki dealer and compare it  to a new one.  That pice only cost about $10.00 anyway.

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

It's bent.  Put a small pipe over it and bend it back.  The levers are real soft.
