I caught about half of Superbikes last week.  The track stuff was ok, they were running with Fastrack Riders @ Fontana (California Speedway).  But the guy said you could show up with no bike and hit the track for under $500.  No way.  Just the bike is almost $200 to rent, the leathers are like $100 to rent, the Fastrack noob school is like $150, and the track time is like $250.  And you can't ride without a class M license and proof of health insurance.  And the guy they had doing his "first trackday" was trying to hard to be funny, and joking around and not being serious at all.  Barely any footage of actual racers on the track.

Then they followed a bunch of bikers on a canyon ride.  It looked like "Palms to Pines" to me, but it could have been ACH.  The crew was all decked in their Icon gear.  Again, not much actual riding footage, just handging out stopped, talking about how chill all riders are, and how some do canyons and some do stunts, but it's all equal and good.  They then, of course, hit a bikenight.  Got pulled over on the way there.  They talked about how all bikers like each other and everyone gets along at bikenights.

It was so much fluff.  No real mentions of safety or gear in the part I saw.  The show could be good, really.  If they focused less on the image, and more on the bikes and riders.

I only watched the track portion, so I didn't know about the rest of the junk.
